I just felt like showing off a bit here. My cast actually just won an award for 13 in Paper Mill's Rising Star Awards. It was for Education Impact which makes sense with the plot of the musical and stuff. So yeah I'm actually really shocked about this espeically cause our school's been giving us a negative feedback about the show lately.
That's awesome! I love hearing about other people's productions being a sucess! I bet people were just jealous that they didn't get to be in it. That, or they're stuck-up and think they could've done better. Don't let them spoil your sucess 
I know how you feel; other people at my theatre company kept saying that it wasn't as good as everyone said and that we weren't very good vocally... yet people who saw it on Broadway said ours was competition and we won 2 local awards, one for best musical and one for best stage kiss (Archie and Brett). Those boys had balls

Yeah it's pretty awesome. We needed the money anyway. We have to probably perform it again cause of the award but it's just a rumor.
